We combine tools from population genetics and genetic epidemiology to find genetic variation influencing disease. Our goal is to better characterize the relationships between causal variants, risk loci, and genetic modifiers for both rare disorders and common complex traits.

About Dr Liz Blue
Liz Blue is an Associate Professor in the University of Washington Department of Medicine, Division of Medical Genetics.
Dr. Blue’s lab incorporates population genetics and genetic epidemiology to identify variants influencing disease within and between human populations, predicting and evaluating their functional consequences.
